The iconic Soriana sofa was designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa in 1969 for the Italian brand Cassina. The model won the prestigious Compasso d'Oro award in 1970 and is among the most sought-after design pieces of the 20th century.
It is characterized by an organic, soft silhouette and a distinctive chrome steel band that shapes and holds the upholstery.
The Soriana in our collection dates back to the late 1970s. The sofa has been freshly reupholstered in a caramel-colored velvet fabric. With its chrome details, they create a perfect pair. The internal parts have also been restored, and it is in excellent condition. The sofa is marked on the frame at the bottom.
We have one more identical piece available, which is waiting to be upholstered, and we can prepare it in the same fabric or in a fabric of your choice.
