We imported this sofa bed from the Reggio Emilia region in Italy. It features a black metal frame typical of the Italian 1960s, with brass-tipped feet that serve as a "relic" of the 1950s, a design element that was already falling out of favor at that time.
The sofa has been freshly reupholstered in a new fabric with an ostrich skin pattern. The fabric has a soft nap, similar to velvet, and is very pleasant to the touch. It can serve as a main sofa or as an additional piece that can sleep one person. It is space-saving and relatively lightweight.
The sofa can be easily converted into a comfortable bed measuring 91 cm wide and 175 cm long. It is in excellent condition. If interested, we can reupholster the sofa in a different fabric upon request.
