Art Deco armchair "Tank" Miroslav Navrátil, Czechoslovakia, 1940s
Art Deco armchair "Tank" Miroslav Navrátil, Czechoslovakia, 1940s
The rare TANK chair by Miroslav Navrátil was produced at the United UP Factory and dates back to the 1940s. The inspiration for the creation of this chair was the design of designer Aalvar Aalto, who established cooperation with various manufacturing plants across Europe.
With its bent wooden armrests, the chair seems to levitate. We have completely renovated this piece and reupholstered it in a high-quality fabric with a subtle relief. The color combination gives the chair a timeless character.
Thanks to its construction, it offers an ideal place to relax or read. We have preserved the springs that add comfort. The chair will perfectly complement any interior, suitable for the living room as a TV or reading chair.
