The Superleggera chair, or model 699, was designed by Gio Ponti for the Italian manufacturer Cassina. It is one of the icons of 20th-century Italian design. It is famous for its exceptionally lightweight construction, precise craftsmanship, and timeless look.
This vintage piece comes from Italy and dates back to approximately the 1970s. The black lacquered wooden frame is complemented by an upholstered seat featuring new blue fabric. Thanks to its elegant design, it is suitable for a dining room, study, or as a statement piece in an interior. The chair is in very good condition. The stated price is per piece.
