Peter Kľúcik is a painter, graphic artist and illustrator born in Bratislava. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, at the Department of Graphic Arts and Book Illustration under the guidance of Prof. Albín Brunovský. His works are characterized by motifs from the world of fantastic zoology, where real and mythical animals meet. The most famous graphic cycles include Mapa sveta I – III and Tauromachia I – V. In addition to painting, he is mainly engaged in graphic arts, in which he mainly uses the etching technique.
